Common questions about the A2 motorbike licence
- How much does the A2 cost in Granollers?
- The A2 pack costs €299 and includes enrolment, the theory course, the first month of the online platform and 4 practical lessons. DGT fees (€94.05) and the road test fee (€75) are paid separately.

- Can I go straight to the A2 without holding the A1?
- Yes, you can get the A2 directly from age 18 without having held the A1. If you come with an A1 and at least two years' experience, the process is simpler and you only need to pass the practical tests in the circuit and on the road.

- If I come with an A1 do I skip any tests for the A2?
- Yes. If you've held the A1 for at least 2 years, you only need to take the practical tests (circuit and road) — you skip the theory test. If you don't have the A1, you'll also need to sit the common theory test, the motorbike-specific theory test and both practical tests.

- Which motorbikes can I ride with the A2?
- With the A2 you can ride motorbikes up to 35 kW (47 hp) with a max power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg, provided they aren't derived from a bike with more than twice that power. You can also ride all A1 and AM vehicles.
